The Breiteben restaurant is ideally situated in the centre of the Schwemmalm ski area at 1,900 metres above sea level. Its huge sun terrace has enough space for large groups and the kitchen never fails to delight with traditional food made from regional products.
Hot dishes are served from 11am to 4pm. The kitchen offers varied à la carte meals as well as a menu of the day, which is creative and tasty. Available upon request are fish, meat or venison specialities.
We aim to fulfil your every wish. The guest is King and our 13 employees will do everything for your satisfaction.
For dinner or a traditional “merenda sudtirolese/Südtiroler Marende”, a snack which South Tyroleans like eating before dinner, we recommend our homemade cheese from our dairy which we run during the summer months. You can also buy some typical Alpine dairy products to take home with you.
The Breiteben restaurant offers you table-service as well as self-service, which means avoiding a long wait. Just queue and get the dish you want quickly and freshly prepared. Those who prefer table-service can take a seat in our cosy “Stube”, a traditional South Tyrolean dining room.
While eating on our sun terrace you have a breath-taking view over the surrounding mountains and ski slopes. On Sundays and public holidays you can begin your day’s skiing with a traditional “Weißwurst” with “Brezel” and sweet mustard or we prepare grilled meats.
At breakfast start your morning with freshly baked bread rolls, some orange juice, croissants and original Italian coffee. A hot tip: try out our home-made juices!
